Side or accordian plaited panels are sewed to a one-piece dress at the fashionable long-bodied line and the neck is cut a little lower than usual at the sides and back.

Use tricotine, garbardine, twills, checks, serge, broadcloth, crepe de Chine, chepe meteor, satin, etc.

The original Butterick pattern number for the dress in 1920 was 2695. The braiding design on the dress was from pattern #10748. The spats pattern was #2576.
