Once upon a time in Cyberland…

You viewed the details of the back of the Cyber Cinderella's Gown

The back view of the gown has many stunning features, a Van Dyke overlay with crystal clusters, a period train and square backed bodice. Please read the information below to get a close-up view.

 Bodice Description

The bodice features a low square cut neckline providing a hint of romantic appeal. The satin corded waistband rides on the back slightly higher than in the front, a characteristic of Edwardian style gowns. A pearl cluster accents the band's closure. The collection of soft pleats is carried from the front waistband, over the shoulders to the rise of the backside cording. The outermost pleat is edged with simulated pearl fringe. The center back opening is hook and eyed to the hip line.

Overlay and Train

The front and rear overlays flow from the waistband to the knee. From this area to the gown's bottom, the overlay creates a dramatic Van Dyke point. This effect is highlighted on the front and rear panels of the overlay.

Tassels and Fringe

The Van Dyke points are edged with the same drop- pearl fringe as the bodice pleats. At the point is a tassel of Austrian crystals. A total of three tassels accent the gown, one on each of the points and another on the front waistband. The gown's pearls and tassels create a slight jingle as you stroll through a room.

Train and Purse

The conclusion of the gown presents an elegant tail. A two foot square train is representative of the 1910-1914 fashion era. In this photograph, you can see the separation of the overlay at the knee.

The silver and gold purse is a semi-circle shape. It has a gold chain handle approximately two feet long. The purse opens by sliding the top up the chain. A tassel is attached to the bottom of the purse.
